Reminder: You are WONDERFULLY made!

Hello everyone!

I did another street art installation project today, and I think it went pretty well - I'm smiling stupidly now and am very excited to show you what I did on the streets of Singapore!

The project was very simple - I observed how busy and hectic life in Singapore can be, and how insignificant people may feel in this crowded country. I wanted to do something that would stop them in their tracks, and remind them that every single one of them is special. Wonderful. Unique. So this is what I came up with:

{I'm sure you've seen street ads done in this style...instead of an ad, I wrote 'Reminder: You are wonderfully made!' on pieces of a4 paper, and wrote the same thing on the little cut-out strips on the bottom of the paper so passersby can take one with them!}

{This was inspired by Psalm 139:14, ""I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made...". I included a little smiley for each strip for an extra dose of happiness! I initially wanted to print these out, but thought that a handwritten note would be much more personal and meaningful...}

{I stuck them at random places, like this tree near a bus stop where I live...}

{...I also stuck on at a little lane in Little India, and saw people going up to check it out, and someone took a strip with him!}

{...I gasped when I came back to this tree (note that it's a separate tree from the first one!). I gasped, and I smiled - within an hour, 5 people took the strips with them! This seems to be working! :) }

{A lady walked past and said to her friend, "Oooh, how sweet!". They saw me pacing around the tree, and asked me about it. I told them about the purpose behind the project, and they offered to help me take a photo with the project. :))) }

{If you like these street art projects that I have done, please feel free to do the same at whichever city you are staying at! And it'd be great if you could sent them to me so I could share them here with everyone!}

{I stuck a few more around the neighbourhood and will upload the photos soon once I have taken photos of them!}
